Girl at First Communion

The Eucharist is the very sacrifice of the Body and Blood of the Lord Jesus which he instituted to perpetuate the sacrifice of the cross throughout the ages until his return in glory. Thus he entrusted to his Church this memorial of his death and Resurrection. It is a sign of unity, a bond of charity, a paschal banquet, in which Christ is consumed, the mind is filled with grace, and a pledge of future glory is given to us.

Children who are in the 1st grade and up can be enrolled in our First Holy Communion Program. This formation program is structured as a two-year sacramental preparation. Our program is designed to cover information about our Catholic Faith, our Church and prepare Children to receive the sacraments of Reconciliation and First Eucharist in the second year.

When enrolling students for 1st-year Holy Communion the family must provide both a Birth certificate and a Baptism certificate. These must be provided at the time of registration.

If your child has yet to be Baptized they will be enrolled into our Rite Of Christian Initiation for Children (RCIC) Program.
